3Tower is an upcoming first-person horror adventure experience where you play as a night watchman on the graveyard shift. The game is being developed by a developer duo at Wechselbalg Studio that was founded by Swen and Jasmin Kalini on the island of Gozo, Malta. The studio is creating atmospheric indie games rooted in emotion, storytelling, and old-school creativity, and 3Tower is their first release. It is a love letter to haunted places, heartfelt narratives, and the strange beauty of loss and is currently in Early Access on Steam from the 3rd of July 2025.
The game is set in a mysterious cemetery haunted by troubled souls, where players take on the role of a night watchman caught between three chilling storylines. As memories return and strange events unfold, players must uncover the truth about the graveyard – and about themselves. The developers decided to release an unfinished game to Early Access because they want to involve people in its development and make a game that is going to be the best for the players. 3Tower will remain in Early Access state at least until December 2025 or even longer, if needed.

They plan to create a universe that links several stories, because every ghost and person in 3Tower has much to tell. During the Early Access phase they plan to combine the shooting gameplay feature with the inventory, add two more storylines and their sequences, renew some of the assets to match better with the game’s graphical style, change the balancing between player and the ghosts, generally optimise the game’s performance to support playing on slower machines and add support for Linux and controllers.
The current state of the game is fully playable and it features exploring of the graveyard and the buildings that surround it, you can find and collect items in your inventory, a fully playable first storyline of the game and cinematic sequences for it and a well styled map landscape that will definitely give you the chills. 3Tower is currently available at an introductory price until the 16th of July, and it costs 7,80 EUR. After that, the game will cost 9,75 EUR, and the developers also plan to gradually raise the price as that will include new content and features.

During the game’s Early Access development, Wechselbalg Studio will listen to what the community has to say and propose changes since they want to learn from the players who spend time playing their game. They welcome you to give your suggestions by adding them to your review on Steam, and they are fond of hearing what its players like and do not like. You can also add your suggestions at the game’s community page or even contact the developers directly via social platforms, Bluesky and X.
As already mentioned before, in 3Tower, you take on the role of a new night watchman at a graveyard. Your job is to survive the night at the Three Tower Cemetery, which is the home of the so-called problematic dead people. 3Tower is a first-person psychological horror game that does not include predictable jump scares but is driven by unpredictable and systemic horror occurrences. Each of the towers operates on unstable technology, and each night brings new failures to them – blown fuses, power outages and flickering monitors. The spirits will dynamically respond to those happenings, which basically means there are no scripted hauntings in 3Tower.

The options for you are that you clock in, survive your six-hour shift from midnight to dawn and leave, or you can decide to investigate the graveyard. There will be three alternative storylines to discover, and each one of them is revealing a different layer of the graveyard’s dark history. You can choose to obey the rules or dig deeper into the origins of the towers and the things they contain. While the game is still in Early Access, it does feature an eerie atmosphere while traversing the graveyard and its towers. The game’s graphics are decent as well and represent the horror theme of 3Tower.
The gameplay is already sufficient enough to enjoy playing it, and it results in a tense experience, but there are still some bugs present, which I hope will be resolved with future updates. I am looking forward to following 3Tower with its updates, and I really want to play a majestic horror experience when the game fully releases, be it in December or later.
